ISSUE

Indexing window does not appear when saving a document to Synergize Desktop

 

ISSUE DETAILS

User tries to save a document to the Synergize Desktop watch directory but no indexing window pops up.

No other error messages appear. It just seems that Synergize Desktop is not responsive

 

RESOLUTION

Synergize Desktop Indexing option is turned OFF. To enable it, ensure that the user is logged in to Synergize Desktop and right-click the Synergize Desktop icon in the system tray

Right click on Synergize desktop and make sure Indexing option have a check mark. If not there, click on it once to enable.

 

 

Try to add a new document and verify.
